Holly Amoth, MBA, SHRM-SCP is the Director of Human Resources at Visiting Nurse and Hospice for Vermont and New Hampshire (VNH). With more than 20 years of human resource management experience, she has directed all functions of human resources including employee relations, on-boarding, training and development, program development, compliance, compensation, benefits, policy development, international relations, affirmative action, OFCCP, and state and federal audits. Holly joined VNH in February 2010.
Holly is accountable for the development of the organizations human capital to provide exceptional care for the communities that VNH serves. She supports long-term growth and success of the agency through effective workforce strategies by aligning the human resources strategy with business objectives and the principles for the organization. Holly partners with the VNH leadership team to develop and implement strategies that builds a talented and exceptional workforce, supporting organizational alignment and a positive, successful culture and work environment. As a member of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health (D-HH), she is a strategic partner to D-HH’s development of integrated employee programs, pathways and talent management services.
Prior to joining VNH, Holly held positions with for-profit and not-for-profit organizations that were local, national and global. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management and Communication from Concordia University, St. Paul, Minnesota and a Master of Business Administration in Human Resources and International Business from the American Intercontinental University, Chicago, Illinois. Holly holds a professional certification from the Society for Human Resource Management as a Senior Certified Professional and has completed the Lean Six Sigma Green belt training from the Value Institute Learning Center at Dartmouth-Hitchcock. She also sits on a number of local and state Human Resources committees and educational task forces.
