Tammy Tarsa, MBA, BSN, RN is the Chief Clinical Officer at Visiting Nurse and Hospice. Tammy is an experienced clinician and healthcare leader with 20 years of home health and hospice knowledge. She joined VNH in August 2022.
As Chief Clinical Officer, Tammy is responsible for operations of skilled care, telehealth, maternal child health, pediatrics, long-term care case management, ACO care coordination, and palliative care and hospice services. She is responsible for strategic planning, program growth, financial viability, quality performance, service excellence and regulatory compliance of related programs. As the Chief Clinical Officer, Tammy is a strategic partner to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health’s Service Line Leaders in the development of care pathways to include community-based services and care at home.
Tammy holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ball State University, a Master of Business Administration from Spring Arbor College and is completing her Doctorate in Health Administration from Central Michigan University.
Prior to joining VNH, Tammy was the Executive Director of Home Health, Hospice and Palliative Care at Jefferson Healthcare (Washington). She led in the domains of quality and compliance, organizational culture, clinical operations, program/business development and project management.
