Johanna Beliveau, DNP, MBA, RN is the President and Chief Executive Officer at Visiting Nurse and Hospice for Vermont and New Hampshire (VNH). She was appointed by a unanimous vote of the Board of Trustees and assumed her role in June 2018. Johanna is an experienced healthcare leader with 20 years in nursing practice.
Johanna holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Yale University, a Master of Business Administration from Rosemont College, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fitchburg State College, and a Lean Six-Sigma Black Belt certificate from the Thayer School of Engineering, Dartmouth College. An active member of the American Organization of Nurse Leaders, Johanna was selected as a Nurse Director fellow in 2015.
Prior to joining VNH, Johanna served in multiple roles within Dartmouth Health, most recently as Director of Quality, Patient Safety and Compliance for Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center and Associate Chief Nursing Officer at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and Clinics. Her clinical and leadership experience includes hospice and palliative care, pediatrics, home health, hospice and hospital operations, regulatory readiness, quality improvement and patient safety science. Through her career, Johanna has implemented several strategic initiatives including the development of clinical advancement models, reducing employee turnover, implementing team care behaviors, and safety behaviors for error prevention.
