Tammy Tarsa, MBA, BSN, RN is the interim President and Chief Executive Officer at Visiting Nurse and Hospice for Vermont and New Hampshire (VNH). Tammy is an experienced clinician and healthcare leader with 20 years of home health and hospice knowledge. She joined VNH in August 2022 as their Chief Clinical Officer.
Tammy holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ball State University, a Master of Business Administration from Spring Arbor College and is completing her Doctorate in Health Administration from Central Michigan University.
In her role as Chief Clinical Officer, Tammy was responsible for clinical operations of skilled care, telehealth, maternal child health, pediatrics, long-term care case management, Accountable Care Organization (ACO) care coordination, and palliative care and hospice services. She was responsible for strategic planning, program growth, financial viability, quality performance, service excellence and regulatory compliance of related programs.
Prior to joining VNH, Tammy was the Executive Director of Home Health, Hospice and Palliative Care at Jefferson Healthcare (Washington). She led in the domains of quality and compliance, organizational culture, clinical operations, program/business development and project management.
